SYMPTOMS, PRECAUTIONS, DEVELOPMENT OF BABY DURING FIRST MONTH PREGNANCY


Pregnancy is the most beautiful stage in every woman’s life where she is getting complete. When you get news of getting pregnant you are on seventh cloud. It seems all your wishes are coming true. A life is growing day by day in you and after nine month you have baby in your hand.
During this period you have lot of questions coming in your mind like what to eat, what to avoid, what changes are going to occur in the body and many more. Let’s have a look on the questions that comes in your mind one by one.

Symptoms during first month pregnancy

Many few women are able to detect that they are pregnant. Pregnancy symptoms are same as that of in pre-menstruation, due to this it is very confusing. This is mainly due to release of pregnancy hormone at the time of implantation. Implantation means when embryo implants in uterus. Here are the list of symptoms that you may experience during first month of pregnancy.

Stoppage of Monthly Periods cycle:

 Pregnancy affects your body and the major change that you notice in your body is stopping of periods.

Morning Sickness:

It means vomiting and nausea. You will experience this during 3 weeks of pregnancy or earlier than this. You can suffer morning sickness at any time of the day i.e. morning or night.

Mood Swings:

You will notice frequent mood swings in your early pregnancy. You will get angry without any reason or can behave like childish sometimes, sometimes you become happy for no reasons, sometimes you feel like crying. It is all because of change in hormone.

Breast’s soreness:

You will feel pain and soreness in your breast. Your nipples and skin around nipples gets darker. You will notice small bumps on areola and notice visible veins on breast.

Craving for food:

Many of woman feels food craving. The food that you like most may turn out to be your dislike one. And the food you hate most may become your favorite.

Tiredness:

You will feel extremely tired as you have done lot of hard work.  It is all because of your body is spending your all energy in developing baby.

Urination Increases:

Increase in progesterone level leads to increase in blood flow to uterus that will cause thick lining of uterine. It helps in baby’s growth and protect baby. Your kidney size gets increased due to this process. As, it needs to work more to handle the increasing of body fluids. This will result in feeling of fullness and urge of urination again and again.

Heartburn:

Hormonal changes in the body system can cause symptoms like acid reflux or heartburn. You will experience these symptoms when the baby grows and pushes your stomach along with intestine. You will experience this during your trimester.

Constipation:

Hormone release during pregnancy i.e. progesterone has muscle relaxing tendency that will slow down things too much that even food passes slowly through intestine that results in constipation.

Dizziness:

Progesterone hormone leads to muscle relaxation due to which you feel dizzy.

Strong Smell Sense: 

Due to hormonal changes it is another common sign of pregnancy. You start hating smell of certain drinks or food.

Appetite Increases:

As your body is growing new life in itself so lot of energy require during that process. Whatever be the energy spent is gained from the food that we eat. So, do not feel surprise if you are hungry all the time.
There are more symptoms like backache, headache, thrush, increase in vaginal secretion and many more which are very common symptoms during pregnancy. If you noticed further more symptoms consult your doctor.

Things needs to do during first month of pregnancy:

  • Exercise regularly. If you are not habitual of exercise start going for a brisk walk of 30 minutes.
  • Eat fiber rich foods
  • Drink water as much as possible.
  • Take proper rest. Increase your sleeping hours.
  • Stay calm, happy.
  • Read good books

Things needs to avoid during pregnancy:

  • Do not panic in any situation. Stay calm and if you find any issues consult your doctor.
  • Avoid caffeine things like coffee.
  • Avoid junk food as it is not healthy for you as well as for your baby
  • Stop drinking alcohol and quit smoking
  • Do not wear high heels and tight clothes
  • Avoid heavy weight lifting
  • Avoid long distance travelling
  • Avoid hot tubs or sauna
  • Avoid exposure to pesticides, chemicals
  • Avoid sex if possible for first two months of pregnancy. Consult doctor for safe intercourse.


Food needs to avoid during First month of pregnancy:

  • High Mercury fishes likes tuna, sharks, sword fish, king mackerel.
  • Raw or under-cooked fishes, meat, eggs,
  • Caffeine
  • Raw sprouts
  • Unpasteurized milk, cheese, juice
  • Alcohol
  • Junk foods
  • Grapes, Papaya, pineapple
  • Unwashed raw fruits
Pregnancy is not only your solely responsibility. It is a responsibility of both mom and dad. You both needs to support each other and love each other. Try to avoid tiring things. Take healthy diet which would be beneficial for you and your kids. Do not be panic in any situation. Consult your doctor for even a silly question that comes in your mind. Have healthy baby.
